Five men arrested in farm firearm swoop

FIVE men were arrested in connection with possessing a firearm after police were called to the grounds of one of the borough's largest farms.
Police patrol cars and the force helicopter were scrambled to Mossborough Hall, Rainford, after reports of trespassers on the land.
Two of the men, one of whom was aged 18 and from Liverpool, were bailed pending further enquiries, while the other three were released without charge.
