CELEBRITY WAG Coleen Mcloughlin and Saints' star Mike Bennett are helping highlight the need for more foster carers.
May 12-25 is National Fostering Fortnight and St Helens Council is launching a series of awareness raising events.
Supporting the programme, Mike, says: "Foster carers make such a significant difference to the young people they care for. It's great to be able to support such a worthwhile service".
Coleen McLoughlin - the fiancee of Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney - is also anxious to get behind the events as her family have fostered and knows the benefits it can bring to young people.
As the Council says a big thank you' to its existing foster cares it is anxious to promote the need for more carers in the St Helens area and is asking could you foster too'?
If you think you have what it takes to foster or want more information why not attend one of the Foster Care Fortnight events. The fostering service team will be there to answer any questions along with some existing foster carers. Promotional events include:
