We are dedicated to policing the neighbourhood, which provides numerous challenges due to its diverse make up, including a market town centre, a nightclub, Haydock Park Racecourse, numerous pubs, a shopping centre and industrial estates. The boundary is seven miles across. Policing this area is a very demanding role but also I find a very rewarding job as I enjoy meeting and speaking to people and helping them resolve their problems.
