Inspector Elaine Collins

I am Elaine Collins, the Neighbourhood Inspector for the newly named St Helens South Neighbourhood. This covers the areas of Thatto Heath, Rainhill, Eccleston, Parr, Sutton, Bold and Fouracre. I am excited at the prospect of leading a new team of Sergeants, Police Officers, PCSOs and Special Constabulary Officers, who are dedicated to these areas and as committed as I am, to working with yourselves and our partners, to reduce crime and anti social behaviour and tackling the issues that matter to you. I have worked in a number of areas and roles across the force and I’m certain that my past experiences, paired with my enthusiasm and your support, will result in positive results for the community.

Police Community Support and Traffic Officer Kirsty Nevitt

My name is Kirsty-Jane Nevitt. I am a PCSO that covers the Sutton area. I have worked for Merseyside Police since 2008. I have previously worked in the Parr and Bold areas. I like meeting the local residents and find talking to local people an interesting part of my job, I also enjoy being involve with St Helens Got Talent.

Police Community Support and Traffic Officer Lorna Dyson

My name is Lorna Dyson and I am the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) for Sutton. I enjoy meeting all of the local residents and find tackling their issues the most interesting part of the work. You will see me out and about in the community.

Dedicated Constable Leighton Brady

My name is Leighton Brady, I am a dedicated Police Officer for the D2 area, which consists of Parr, Sutton and Bold wards.I have worked for Merseyside Police since 2001, I have always worked within the St Helens area. I have had various roles including Response, the Neighbourhood Action Team and Neighbourhood Officer. I enjoy meeting local residents and find helping local residents the most enjoyable part of my work.

Police Community Support and Traffic Officer Amy Hornby

My name is Amy Rhoades, I work as a Police Community Support Officer in the Parr area. You can see me out and about Parr. I enjoy meeting and talking to the local residents within the area.

Sergeant Kath Rackham

I am Sergeant Kath Rackham. I have been a Police Officer for over 20 years. Throughout my career with Merseyside Police I have worked at Kirkby, Huyton and the OSU Mounted Section .I was fortunate to be posted to St Helens in May 2010 working on a patrol section before moving to D2 Neighbourhood covering Sutton, Bold and Parr Wards in May 2012.

My name is Kevin Green. I am a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer that covers the Eccleston area. I have been in Merseyside Police since 2004. I have previously worked in Rainhill, Thatto Heath and West Park. I particularly enjoy meeting local residents and helping people in the community.

My name is Laura Rowling. I am a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer that covers the Eccleston area. I have been in Merseyside Police since 2004. I have previously worked in Rainhill, Thatto Heath and West Park before moving to Eccleston in 2007. I enjoy meeting local residents and find talking to local people the most interesting part of my work.

Constable Parton Sue

My name is Sue Parton, but you may know me as P.C. Sue. I have worked for Merseyside Police for 23 years and during that time I have worked all over the force area, as a patrol officer in Liverpool South, an operational support officer based at Smithdown Lane; a neighbourhood officer and a training officer in St Helens. In September 2010 I started working as a Safer Schools Officer at De La Salle High School and I am now one of only 11 officers in the force who have completed a higher education diploma with Liverpool John Moores University in relation to working with young people. I enjoy supporting the work of my colleagues in the neighbourhood when I’m not engaged at the school.

Sergeant Stephanie Barcroft

I am Sgt Steph Barcroft, I have over 20years service and started my career on the Wirral as a beat Constable. I have spent my career to-date performing uniform duties. I am passionate about making a difference and enjoy working with the public because together we can make a real difference.
My current role is the D2 Sgt covering Thatto Heath, Rainhill, West Park and Eccleston. I manage a team of Police Officers and PCSO's who are equally committed to making a difference.

Police Community Support and Traffic Officer Thomas Henders

My name is Tommy Henders, I have worked for Merseyside Police since 2009 as a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer. You will see me out and about in the Bold area, I enjoy patrolling the area and meeting with local residents.

My name is Chris Bent. I am a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer and I cover the Parr area of St Helens. I have worked for Merseyside Police in the Parr area since March 2009. I enjoy meeting local residents, working within the local schools and generally providing a link between our local community and Merseyside Police. The most interesting aspect of my role is not knowing what I may come across from one minute to the next.

I enjoy meeting local residents and find talking to local people the most interesting part of my work.

I have been working in the Dedicated Neighbourhood since 2007 and have previously worked in the Eccleston, West Park and Rainhill Wards. I enjoy the variety of work the Police service provides in particular meeting local residents and providing support.

My name is Ken Dearing. I am a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer that covers the Rainhill area. I have been with Merseyside Police since 2004. I previously worked as a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer at Thatto Heath before moving to Rainhill. I enjoy meeting local residents and find helping the local community very rewarding.

My name is Alison Duncan, I am a Police Community Support Officer, I am currently working in the Sutton area, I have previously worked in the Parr area. I enjoy working within the community, meeting and talking to local residents.

My name is Lee Chesworth and I am the dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for Sutton. I have previously worked as a Response Patrol Officer in North Liverpool and St Helens. I have also been part of the Neighbourhood Support Team targeting specific crimes in the St Helens Area and have worked at the MATRIX Department at Smithdown Lane in Liverpool. The most satisfying part of my work is solving issues within the local community.

I started as a Police Community Support and Traffic Officer at Eccleston and moved to West Park after a year. The most enjoyable part of my work is interacting with the local community and providing them with support.

I have previously worked in the Prescot and Whiston area of Knowsley before moving to the St Helens area in 2010. Since moving I have worked in the Thatto Heath and Eccleston wards before moving across to West Park in August 2012. The most enjoyable part of my job is that no two days are the same. I love meeting new people and establishing strong relationships within the neighbourhood. It means I can work more effectively with my community to tackle any issues that may affect them.
