TWO famous stars of stage and screen are coming to the Lowry for a new production of the popular Ayckbourn classic, Relatively Speaking, presented by Theatre Royal Bath Productions.

Robert Powell and Liza Goddard will play Philip and Sheila, the ‘parents’ of Ginny, who draws them into a web of deception.

Greg has only just met Ginny but has already decided she is the girl for him.

When she mentions that she is going to visit her parents, Greg decides to join her and ask her father’s permission to marry her.

Discovering a scribbled address, he follows her to Buckinghamshire where Philip and Sheila are eating their Sunday breakfast in the garden.

The only problem is that they aren’t Ginny’s parents!

Greg and Ginny are played by Anthony Eden and Lindsey Campbell.

The garden set, designed by award winning Peter McKintosh, will be well worth seeing.

* Relatively Speaking is at The Lowry from October 17 to October 22. Tickets, from the Lowry Box Office, are £27.50 - £32.50.
