THINGS are turning chilly at the Citadel this week... but there’s plenty of heartwarming fun as their Christmas panto gets under-way.
The Snow Queen demonstrates just how talented the St Helens arts community really is... and we’ve got a family ticket to win... so that four lucky Star readers can see the delightful show themselves.
Running from Thursday, December 10 to Saturday, December 19, The Citadel would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and dedication as the festive event wouldn’t be possible without these unsung heroes.
Fay Lamb, Citadel chief executive says, “The Citadel’s annual community pantomime is an event for St Helens people by St Helens people.”
The tale of The Snow Queen has been adapted from the story by Hans Christian Andersen.
With daily matinees on stage at 1.00pm and evening performances at 7.30pm, tickets are priced just £7 and £5 for concessions (under 16s), with group booking discounts also available (buy 10 tickets and only pay for 9).
With storytelling, upbeat songs and a lot of laughs this truly is a Christmas event for all the family!
AND you could be the lucky winner of our family ticket (two adults and two children) to the performance of The Snow Queen on Friday, December 18.
To be in with a chance of winning the family ticket... just answer this simple question and send your answers with your details and a daytime phone number to Snow Queen competition, St Helens Star, 23a Hardshaw Street, St Helens WA10 1RT, to arrive no later than Tuesday, December 15.
Winners will be notified by phone.
