MAKE tracks for The Citadel on Saturday, October 3 to ensure you don’t miss out on what promises to be another massive blues night.
Eddie and the Hot Rods make their only stop in the northwest before heading from the UK to Germany and Czechoslovakia on their latest tour.
Eddie and the Hot Rods roared into life back in 1976, and those four teenagers from Southend on Sea have since been performing fast, energetic and raucous gigs ever since, touring alongside the likes of The Ramones, Tom Petty, The Police, Squeeze and Talking Heads.
It was after a tour in 2000 with Citadel favourites Dr. Feelgood, John Otway and The Hamsters that the band has been back in demand.
Tickets for Eddie & The Hot Rods are priced just £12 or £10 for concessions.
For information and to book tickets, call the Citadel Box Office on 01744 735436, or visit citadel.org.uk.
l One lucky Star reader can win a pair of tickets to see the band perform at The Citadel.
All you have to do is answer this simple question: Where do Eddie and The Hot Rods come from?
Send your entries along with your details including a daytime phone number to Hot Rods Competition, St Helens Star, 23a Hardshaw Street, St Helens WA 10 1RT, to arrive no later than Wednesday, Sept 30. The winner will be notified by phone.
