Take a stroll and find the village scarecrows

A SQUAD of scarecrows is heading to Crank to add to the gala fun.

Crank Village Community Association is holding its Gala Day on the village field, behind Crank Nursery between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, July 4.

Entertainment will be provided by The Rainford Silver Band, Terry de Maxim’s Magic Show, Mucky Mountain Morris Dancers and LA Cheerleaders.

There will be a plant stall, Bric a Brac, sideshows, bouncy castle and slide, afternoon teas with strawberries and cream.

There will also be a scarecrow competition for passers-by to see around the village.
