Eva Longoria wants to fall in love as many times as she can.

The Desperate Housewives star split from basketball player husband Tony Parker in 2010 and has since been linked to Penelope Cruz's brother Eduardo.

She told Glamour magazine: "Love is a journey and love evolves. I'd rather have loved and lost than never have loved at all. I just think you should fall in love as many times as you can, because it's such a beautiful experience."

The final episode of Desperate Housewives has been filmed by the cast, and Eva said it was an emotional experience.

Eva said: "I was bawling my eyes out ... for hours after shooting. Marcia (Cross), Felicity (Huffman), and our creator (Marc Cherry) sat in one of the sets and talked and talked for like two hours after everyone left. I mean it was just sad."

But she added: "It's so exciting to see what the next chapter in my life is going to be."
