LITTLE ones can enjoy a monster adventure at the Citadel this April.

On Sunday, April 23 there will be fun for the family as the Travelling Light Theatre Company brings 'Sammy & The Snow Leopard' to the venue.

The story follows nine-year-old Sammy, who loves animals but his mum won't let him have any pets. However, when best friend Hokey Pokey tells him about the 'Adopt a Snow Leopard' programme, Sammy reckons he's found a way to have a pet that doesn't actually come to the house.

But then Sammy gets an unexpected gift – and finds himself on an adventure that quickly spirals out of control.

Written and performed by Brad McCormick, this is a fun, high energy show with stuffed animals, evil neighbours and limes that will enchant anyone from the age of five.

The venue opens at 2pm and, as with all Children’s Theatre shows, there will be an arts and crafts session to keep the kids entertained while they wait for it to start.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for concessions and can be purchased by calling 01744 735436 or at www.citadel.org.uk.
