BLUES fans rejoice as cult band Nine Below Zero bring their tour to town with a one night performance to showcase their new album 13 Shades of Blue.

The London-based band who had a massive following in the 80s, have steadily been building their portfolio culminating in their most recent album providing a unique form of alt blues rock ib a pop punk era.

The band will be gracing the Citadel stage on Saturday March 18 with three of the original band members; Dennis Greaves on guitar and vocals, Mark Feltham on harmonica and Mickey ‘Stix’ Burkey on drums.

They will be joining Ben Willis on bass and a big band, to enable them to create that incredible sound alongside keyboards, violin and backing vocalists, following their impressive live debut on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury 2016.

Frontman Dennis Greaves, said “To be back on tour with all the guys is incredible, the energy, enthusiasm and the magic are back.”

“We never had a hit single, but we became a cult band with an almost fanatical following. It will be great for us all to reconnect with the fans.”
