A THEATRE company is reviving a classic comedy play which sees two actors perform in a pub.
Jim Cartwright's classic comedy, Two, will be staged by the Prescot-based MATE Productions.
After staging a sell-out run with rave reviews in 2014, the hilarious and poignant show will return this March.
Jake Ryan and Rachael Reason will reprise their roles playing the sparring landlord and landlady of a 1980s Northern public house.
The duo also perform 12 other “weird and wonderful” characters who visit the establishment over the course of an eventful and surprising evening.
And the fast-paced show will be sure to provide a rollercoaster of emotion for audiences throughout the evening.
The 'Play in a Pub' will be staged at Deanes House Pub on Church Street, Prescot on Tuesday, March 7 at 7.30pm after opening at Hollies Hall, Halewood on Saturday 4.
Doors will be open for the performances from 7pm.
Tickets cost £8.50 each. This also includes Cottoms hot pot supper and an apple pie in the interval. They can be purchased on mateproductions.co.uk or from the venues. For more information, call 0151 426 4979 or 0151 281 8461.
