MARK Radcliffe and The Foes will give the Citadel crowd an emotional rollercoaster ride when they come to the venue.

The BBC Radio 2, 6music and Glastonbury Festival presenter will bring his band to the Citadel on Saturday, November 29 for an evening of songs to remember.

The first half will feature original songs of lost loves, hangovers, regret and the odd dead dog. But fear not, as after the interval a set of rousing drinking tunes will attempt to lift the gloom.

Featuring an array of instruments including the mandolin, accordion and bodhran, Foes create a rich, ‘folky’ stew in which the observations of one of radio’s most approachable misanthropes can gently simmer.

With Mark having a broadcasting career stretching back to the late seventies, it is a great chance to come along and share an evening in person with Mark Radcliffe and Foes.

Tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for concessions. For further information or to book tickets call the Citadel Box Office on 01744 735436 or visit the Citadel website www.citadel.org.uk.
