OLD favourite Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will return to the Theatre Royal this Easter with a fresh looking line-up.

And organisers are promising it will feature all the glitz, glamour, songs, family fun and silly antics which have made the theatre’s seasonal shows a great success over the years.

Regal Entertainments has unveiled Merseyside’s Charlotte Gallagher as leading lady Snow White.

A Miss Liverpool contestant, Charlotte has performed at the Liverpool Empire Theatre alongside Ray Quinn in Peter Pan and starred as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at North Pier Theatre Blackpool.

Also gracing the Theatre Royal stage for the first time will be Liverpool Theatre School’s Jordan Carr, a talented dancer who will play the dashing Prince Rupert who seeks to win Snow White’s heart.

In addition, some familiar faces will be back too, including Charlie Griffiths as the scheming villain Wicked Queen and Corrie’s Nick Cochrane as her loyal henchman.

Claire Simmo will be transformed into the dazzling Fairy Liquid and Simon Foster is back by popular demand as the Dame, the role he had made his own time and time again with his hilarious antics.

Re-live the famous tale as the Wicked Queen becomes hell-bent on ending Snow White’s life and reclaiming the title of the ‘Fairest of Them All.’ Running from Friday, April 11, to Monday, April 21, the show arrives on the heels of the successful Peter Pan Christmas panto, which smashed box office records.

Showings are at 1pm, with 5pm available on April 19 and 21 at £11 a ticket, with concessions available and family tickets at £40. For showings on April 16 and 17, seats are available at £8.50 each. Tickets can be booked in person at the Theatre Royal box office or alternatively visit sthelenstheatreroyal.com or call 01744 756000.
