Disco sounds with Jerome and DJ C

A SPECIAL ‘end of skool’ disco featuring emerging hip/hop artist Jerome Price will get you in the holiday mood on Friday at the Citadel.

He was born Nathanael Jerome Anthony Price on December 17, 1990 in Canterbury, Kent.

The oldest of five, Jerome’s emergence as a star follows in the footsteps of soul legend Omar.

As well as being the nephew of the singer, music has always been in the family. Jerome has been producing and rapping since the age of 14. He now lives in Newcastle, where he is studying for a law degree.

His debut single was titled Letting Go. The song’s influences are taken from the modern day stresses of being a student and the lack of money that goes hand in hand with that.

When the studying is done, there is a need to “let go” and it’s party time. The song describes how Jerome and his friends would set about “letting go”.

The night also features resident DJ C, playing all the latest club and chart anthems.

Doors open at 6.30pm on Friday, with tickets priced at £5.
