POPULAR musician Ian McNabb will make a return to the Citadel this St George's Day evening with band The Icicle Works.

McNabb has always been a much-loved artist at the Citadel and this saturday plays with the Liverpool band which rode the neo-psychedilia wave of the early 1980s.

Formed in 1980 The icicle Works, with McNabb as their front man, released five albums from 1984 to 1990 before they separated in 1991.

After 15 years performing as a solo artist McNabb reunited with the group and they have been delighting audiences with live gigs ever since.

The Icicle Works are currently embarking on a tour to celebrate more than 30 years of music, having toured the globe and released numerous critically-acclaimed albums and major hit singles.

It promises to be a memorable night with doors open on Saturday from 7.30pm. Tickets are £15 in advance or £17 on the night.
