With it being Christmas week it's just a quick one from me, Simon T, this week.
Out and about again last Friday and caught three different bands in three different venues. First stop was the Sefton Arms and caught some of Cold Turkey's set, excellent as per usual. Four great musicians, and a great varied set. Nuff said!
Next it was on to the Phoenix to catch a bit of Cargo. Great and very well respected band hailing from Warrington with a great selection of classic rock, with material from bands such as Pink Floyd, Wishbone Ash, Santana with a bit of Hendrix thrown in. Always a good listen.
Over at the Rendezvous Salander were doing their usual heavier end of rock thing and always do it well in their own inimitable style. Always fun to watch and listen too and as per usual it was all systems go and highly enjoyable.
