JB&B Leach ‘went back to school’ after being invited to attend the first full assembly of the new academic year at Bleak Hill Primary School in Windle.

The school’s theme of the week was ‘making people welcome’ – and JB&B Leach managing director Andrew Duncan and residential valuer Danielle Whitby were certainly made to feel just that.

“It’s always a pleasure to visit Bleak Hill Primary School – there is just a certain buzz about the place,” said Andrew.

“We have been industry partners with the school for a few years now and we look forward to being so for many more.”

Earlier this year the St Helens estate agency was approached to contribute to a property blog named ‘Even estate agents have a heart’, written by the award winning Andrea Morgan, who owns Citrus Content based in Cardiff.

Andrea successfully writes for independent Thomas Morris estate agents in Cambridge, who are valued members of the 600-strong Relocation Agent Network together with JB&B Leach, who successfully assist buyers moving up and down the country (not just in St Helens!).

The focus of the blog was charity, and Danielle said: “To be approached by such an acclaimed writer was a little daunting initially, but with us rarely short of a few words a piece was submitted and we took the opportunity to focus on our relationship with local school Bleak Hill.

“As a company we have been working closely with the school and supporting events, and we very much feel it’s important to give something back.

“On a personal note my three children have been lucky to benefit from this lovely school.”

The blog won first prize at the coveted PrimeLocation Blog Awards, meaning Thomas Morris received a cash prize.

JB&B Leach was lucky to be offered a share by Thomas Morris partner Simon Bradbury – and there was never any doubt that Bleak Hill should benefit.

The sales team at JB&B Leach decided to donate the prize to the school’s reception area for the benefit of the playground and flower pots, and the reception children were award winners themselves for the aforementioned ‘making people welcome’ scheme.
