LOCAL athlete Vicky Johnson competed in the track and field Merseyside Championships on Saturday at Wavertree for the sixth year running and successfully defended her titles by winning gold in the hammer, shot and discus events.
The 18-year-old from The Shires is a member of Liverpool Harriers and trains four or five times a week at Liverpool and Wythenshawe .
