ST HELENS Council has negotiated with Saints that the new development will become the hub of community activities.
The Council has also taken the opportunity to include a new state of the art youth base.
This 3,200 sq ft facility will provide:
- Disabled sports activities
- School rugby
- Duke of Edinburgh Awards
- Young Carers The Stadium will also be made open for community use on more than two days a month.
Local charities such as Willowbrook Hospice, Carers, MENCAP, Age Concern and Deaf and Blind charities will be able to gain free access for fund raising.
Arts activities also include:
- St Helens Music Festival
- Creative Arts
- St Helens Arts Festival
- School arts workshops
