Based in Conwy, North Wales, on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park, Safe Adventures offers courses in outdoor navigation suitable for people of all abilities.
We have teamed up with Safe Adventures to offer one lucky reader the chance to win two places on a navigation course in this easy to enter competition.
Established by Gary Brown, an ex RAF aircrew instructor, Safe Adventures provides two-day courses which are run as part of the National Navigation Award Scheme and comprise Bronze level for
absolute beginners, Silver level for those with some prior experience and Gold level for the very experienced. Learning to navigate is a life enhancing skill which enables you to get off the beaten
track and enjoy the magnificent countryside, no previous experience is necessary, just a desire to walk and delight in fresh air and beautiful scenery. Even if starting as a
complete beginner, by the end of the course using just a map and compass you will
be able to plan and follow a route confidently and safely.
Walking is a fantastic gentle form of exercise and a proven method of maintaining fitness and keeping the mind and body healthy.
So come on, free yourself this summer - learn how to navigate! For details please visit www.safeadventures.co.uk or telephone 01407 810188.
Closing date is May 31, 2008. Usual Newsquest Cheshire / Merseyside rules apply. Click here to see the competition rules. No purchase necessary. This competition is open to residents residing in the Newsquest (Cheshire / Merseyside) area only.
