Did you spot last weeks where were we?

I’m sure most of you spotted that one of the pictures in last week’s column was the railway bridge at Peasley Cross. The other flood was at Boundary Road (hence the old Queens Park joke, “They emptied the baths again”).

My thanks to reader Martin Sanders for supplying this week’s photo. Is anyone old enough to remember such cars?

If we had a Star in Billinge we could have a guess but quite a few of us have not seen one for weeks.
Burchall's pie is spelt with a "u" so no connection.

Does this week's picture ring any bells? Can you identify this flooded spot? Where is this bus struggling along?
