IT was a few months ago that we first featured this picture, but it seems the debate over its location still rumbles on.
Readers had been in touch to tell me this picture is the Bishop Road entrance to Victoria Park, but Terry B disagrees.
He reckons the gate posts are not the same as in old photos of the park entrance and that they did not have railings.
Terry writes: "The same gateposts are still there now, albeit reduced in height, and the lodge isn't the same either, so unless there was another entrance at the City Road end I'm afraid I don't think it is in fact the entrance in Bishop Road!
"There also appear to be other buildings in the background both to the right and left of the lodge house which would have been in the park if this is Bishop Road entrance. Guess again I think on this one!”
