Here are couple of heritage dates for the diary. On Saturday, August 2 the Rainford Roots community project is hosting a Tudor craft day at Rainford Village Hall, Church Road.
Then on Sunday, August 3, starting from 1.30pm, St Helens Cemetery will host a series of displays involving the St Helens PALS Project, the St Helens Rolls of Honour Project, and a display of First World War uniforms, memorabilia and photographs.
Meanwhile, if any of this column's readers would like to get in touch with me with responses to any of the features or pictures contact me by email: chrispcoffey@gmail.com, ring 01744 817130 or write to 37 Holbrook Close, St. Helens, WA9 3XH.
Readers are also invited to send old pictures and stories that they would like to share.
I can also add readers to the distribution list of free monthly Heritage or Arts/Music newsletters that I produce.
