ST HELENS Heritage Network invite people to visit their local history exhibition being held tomorrow and Saturday at St Helens Central Library.
Come along between 10am to 4pm on Friday or between 10am and 3pm on Saturday and chat with us on a variety of topics.
I am currently researching the role of animals in wartime and I love the tale about the budgie which as it was being carried from a bombed-out East End tenement uttered the words Animals in Wartime.
I love the tale of the budgie who remarked, when carried from a bombed-out East End tenement, “This is my night out!”
