Perhaps public toilets would be a better 'place of interest' than the post office and CAB office in St Helens
IF you are short of ideas as to where to take your visiting friends and relatives, pick up the new “What’s On in St Helens Town Centre in 2013”, produced by the ‘I Love St Helens’ Team in our local Council.
The ten places of interest make recommended reading. At number seven is the Post Office on Bridge Street. At number eight is the Citizens Advice Bureau on Corporation Street.
At number nine is the St Helens Contact Centre on Corporation Street. Do you visit such places when visiting other towns?
It might have been useful had they indicated where the public toilets are, particularly those accessible to disabled users, but ”St Helens Council is working with Shopmobility St Helens to make the Town Centre accessible to all”.
Not very hard it seems! Maybe they expect people not to stay long enough to need relief.
