ANTHONY FRANCIS (Tony) BARROW The family of the late Tony Barrow would like to thank everyone for their lovely cards, kind messages and generous donations. Special thanks to Dr Filletti and all the staff at Ormskirk House Surgery, Krystina Crolla-Barker from the Community Speech and Language Therapy Team, the Macmillan and District Nurse Team, and all the staff who cared for Tony during his illness at the Walton Centre particularly Mr Jenkinson and Jan Holding, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre especially Dr Husband and Helen Parton and Whiston Hospital particularly staff on ward 2A. Tony was always thankful for the level of care he received. Thank you to everyone who attended the celebration of Tony's life and to Fr. Melly and Fr. Martin for the beautiful service. We were overwhelmed by the number of people who attended. Special thanks to Albert Hughes from Lowe House and the Thatto Heath Masters Team for all their help on the day along with Meghan Thompson from Fiesta Flowers for arranging the flowers. Thank you to Helen Emanuel, Mike Rush and all the staff at St Helens RLFC for organising the wake. Thanks also to F. Dooley & Son Funeral Directors for their dignified and efficient service. Thank you to Mike Denning and everyone at Thatto Heath Crusaders for their wonderful tribute to Tony on Saturday. Tony was an inspiration to many and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
