WILLIAM (BILL) BLACKBURN The family of the late Bill Blackburn would like to thank, relatives, friends & neighbours for their loving support, kind words of sympathy, cards & generous donations to both Willow Brook Hospice & Marie Curie. We would like to thank the Rev'd Janet Heighton of Rainford Parish Church & Gornall's staff for their care & administrations. Also nephew Joe Appleton for the fitting floral tractor display & tribute. 'Blue' the splendid horse & handler Caroline for leading the cortége. Also many thanks to all the medical staff, Julie Gaskell (Cardiac Nurse) & all the caring teams who have looked after Bill with such great care & kindness over the recent years. Once again many thanks to all who attended the service in celebration of Bill's wonderful life. He was a loving family man, Dad, Grandad & Great Grandad & will always remain in our hearts.
