JEAN ATHERTON (nee ANDERS) Jean died suddenly but peacefully in hospital on Monday 14th July, aged 82. Loving and adored mum of Alison and David (deceased). Mother-in-law of David, devoted nan of Nikki-Lea, Alex, Jordanne and Rachel, great grandmother, sister of Marie (deceased) and Jim (deceased) and sister-in-law to Jim. Special auntie to her nieces and nephews and a good friend to many. Jean was very much loved and will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at St Anne & Blessed Dominic RC Church at 12.00pm on Thursday 31st July, followed by cremation at St Helens Crematorium.
