ST HELENS rangers are joining up with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) to offer residents the chance to learn about our local winged wildlife and the places they inhabit.
Event-goers will learn to spot different kinds of indigenous and migratory birds by their shapes, calls and colours.
Members of the RSPB will also demonstrate how to make a butterfly feeder, which will attract the creatures into their gardens.
The event will be held at Taylor Park, by the Boathouse and café, on Saturday May 28 from 11am to 4pm.
For details, contact the Ranger Service on 677772 or 678073.
