MAJOR companies and businesses in the town are attending a high profile event staged at Langtree Park today.
The business fair is the largest of its kind in St Helens with around 75 exhibitors in place.
The aim is to highlight the range of businesses from varying sectors and is expected to attract hundreds of visitors from across St Helens and the wider region as the town seeks to showcase its potential for growth.
Along with the main exhibition area there will be a number of free business seminars and a ‘business lounge’ will be open throughout the day providing an informal environment for networking.
Tracy Mawson, director of business services, at St Helens Chamber, said: “We are very excited to be delivering this event for St Helens businesses.
"We have lots of excellent companies in the borough and we need to shout about it and make sure that businesses around the city region and beyond know what great products and services are available on their doorstep here in St Helens.
“The event has been very well received and we are pleased to welcome a number of support sponsors on board, including Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool City Region Local Growth Hub, Vinyline Graphics and Zut Media.”
The business fair takes place from 10.30am to 3pm.
