AS more services move from under the control of the NHS to the council more people are being encouraged to have their say in a public consultation.
Anything from health visitors to school nursing is being invited.
Dr Dympna Edwards Assistant Director of Public Health said: “Local people have an opportunity to shape services for the future. We want to know from parents, carers and young people what they value about these services and what they would like in the future.”
There is government guidance on what services need to do but local views can shape the way child health services are delivered.
Visit sthelens.gov.uk/healthychildreview and complete the short questionnaire by Friday 12 September 2014.
