Woman, 69, hurt in crash
A 69-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars last night.
The collision happened on Crow Lane East, Newton-le-Willows at 10.30pm.
Firefighters and paramedics were called.
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “A 69-year-old woman was assessed by paramedics at the scene and was conveyed to Whiston Hospital for a precautionary check.”
